For Admission to SRM University in B.Tech program, candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Admission is done through National Level Entrance Exam conducted by University (SRMJEEE).
International Baccalaureate (IB) A-Level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in any International school with India is eligible to apply.
The University will provide provision of slot booking before the entrance exam.
Students should choose the exam slot wisely.
NRI, PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for admission.
Students as 16+ age on 31st July of the calendar year should have appeared in 10+2 examination.
Students who want to take admission under B. Tech. lateral entry scheme can opt for SRM University Kattankulathur & Haryana campus.
SRM University conducts exam every year to provide admission to students over 7000 engineering seats.
Application form is available online and can also be downloaded from official website.
Application fees is INR 1100 which can be paid either though e-payment or DD.
Last date to apply for admission is in the month of April, 2018.
The test will be of objective type (total marks 315 each section, each section is of 105 marks each) consists 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry/Biology & Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria
BE/B.Tech
The University offers B.Tech program in sixteen specialization it Kuttarkulathur campus. The admission is done on the basis of SRMJEEE 2018 followed by counselling.
For admission, candidate must have passed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 60% marks. For B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic engineering candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in PCM/PCB.
Also, student must be a resident of India, & should have studied in schools situated in India in preceding two-year of graduation.
The university also offers direct admission to first rank holders in board examination, first 1000 rank in JEE Main, top rankers in Tamil Nadu and National and International Sports person.

Candidate can either apply online or can download the application form from the official website. Mode of payment can be either through e-payment or through DD.

Visit the official website of college and click on the link available for online application.
Register yourself by providing name, e-mail address, DOB & mobile number.
It will generate your login-ID & password.
Now click on agree to the terms & conditions tab & proceed.
Create your application by showing your preference to course & campuses under SRM University.
You have to pay application fee through net banking or credit/debit card.
You can also use unique voucher code to make payment.
Submit & take print out of the Application form for future use.
Offline Mode:
Download the application form from the official website of college.
Fill out the application form carefully.
Pay the application fees in favour of Demand Draft in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.
Candidate must write their name and address on the reverse of DD.
Send the application form and DD before the last date specified.

Admission Process for B.Tech Course
Candidates are selected on the basis of National Level Entrance Exam conducted by University which is SRMJEEE. The college will conduct counselling process on the basis of vacancy of seats. Candidate can choose their preferred branch or specializations on the basis of merit based on score obtained, fulfilling of eligibility criteria and availability of seats. Upon selection of specific specialization or branch, candidate need to pay full fees at the time of counselling. Provisional allotment letter (PAL) will be allotted to candidate to confirm admission.
