Thapar University, Patiala has invited applications for admission to First Year (Second) Semester of UG Program for the Academic Year 2018-19
Admission in the 1st year (2nd Semester) of UG program against the vacant seats due to withdrawals of first semester admission shall be made in the basic of the entrance test to be conducted by Thapar University

Eligibility
For BE/B Tech Programs other than B Tech (Biotechnology):
Candidates should be a student of BE/B Tech Program of a recognized Institute/University and have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from recognized board and have secured at least 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer science/Biology/Biotechnology
Candidate has qualified TU Entrance Test with at least 20% aggregate marks (15% for SC/ST candidates) Or;
Candidates should be a student of BE/B Tech Program of a recognized Institute/University and have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from recognized board and have secured at least 80% (75% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer science/Biology/Biotechnology
Candidate has qualified TU Entrance Test with at least 15% aggregate marks (10% for SC/ST candidates)
Candidates should be a citizen of India
Candidates should bear a good character and satisfy the prescribed requirements of the University
Candidate is born on or after 01st Oct. 1992 (5-years relaxation in age for SC/ST/PH candidates)
Selection Procedure
Admission shall be made on the basis of merit of entrance test to be conducted by Thapar University
Application
Only those candidates shall be considered who shall apply on the prescribed application form on or before the last date with requisite application fee of Rs.1500/- (Non-refundable)
Application Fee can be paid online or through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of "Thapar University" payable at Patiala
