Entrance Exam
Candidates can appear in any of the entrance exam to get admission in the B.Tech and B.Arch courses offered in the state. The admissions will be offered through the national level JEE Main entrance exam for B.Tech and B.Arch courses. The state level entrance exam is also conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa for engineering courses by the name of GCET. Candidates can also appear in BITSAT for admission in BITS Pilani, Goa. For M.Tech courses, candidates must have to appear in national level GATE  entrance exam.

Selection Procedure

The seats in the engineering colleges of Goa will be provided on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and availability of seats. Candidates will be called for the B.Tech counselling on the basis of merit list prepared by the concerned authority. The counselling will be conducted by various institutions separately. The admission procedure will be followed by the online registration, fill courses & college choices, reporting in the allotted college and payment of admission fee. After issuing of seat allotment letter, the candidate can report to the allotted institution and get admission.
